What is Allure Glamour Photography Group?
Allure Glamour Photography Group consists of photographers and models who enjoy shooting glamour, beauty and fashion. We mostly focus on Maxim-style, ultra-sexy images, which are primarily non-nude.
What are Our Events Like?
Our meet-up events are usually group shoots, although there may sometimes be workshops scheduled, as well. In a typical group shoot, there is usually between 8 and 14 photographers, and between 4 and 7 models. The models and photographers rotate, so that everybody gets a chance to shoot with each other. The events are usually about 3 to 5 hours.
When are the Shoots and Where are they at?
Our shoots are almost always on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon or early evening. We shoot on location throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties. We shoot at the beach, in the mountains, in the park, in private mansions and homes, and in urban settings. We also shoot in the studio.
Who are the Photographers?
We have photographers at all levels, from avid amateurs to award-winning and published professionals. We have photographers in our group who have been published in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Glamour, Bazaar, Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, FHM, Maxim and Marie Claire, among many others. The photographers pay to attend our events because they enjoy shooting glamour photography, and we handle the logistics of the shoot and the hiring of the models.
What are the Images used for?
Our model release is a Non-Commercial Model Release that restricts any of the images being sold without the model's further consent. Our models and photographers are allowed to post the images on their social media accounts. The images are mostly used for portfolio building.
Do the Models receive any Images for Her Portfolio?
Absolutely! We ask that each photographer edit at least a couple of their best images for each model. So you might expect to receive anywhere from between 10 to 25 edited images from a shoot. Best of all, you'll receive images from varying creative visions and editing styles.
Do the Models Get Paid for Participating in the Events?
Of course! The pay varies depending on the type of event and timeframe, but our models usually take home between $200 to $450 per event.
Will These Shoots Help a Model Get Additional Paid Work?
Although we can't guarantee it, there's a very strong possibility. The networking opportunities with photographers and other models is invaluable. Many of our photographers in past shoots have hired our models for additional shoots on their own time.
Does the Model Provide Her Own Wardrobe?
Yes. We'll advise you of what to bring. Most of our shoots will also require you to arrive hair and make-up ready.
What Requirements Do You Have of Models?
Models must be at least 18 years old, and must show identification on the first shoot you participate in. No experience is required. In fact, some of our best models in the past have had little or no modeling experience. Models must be very reliable and punctual. Models must be friendly and pleasant. Models must enjoy shooting images that focus on the beauty, sensuality and allure of women. Simple as that!
What Do I Need to Do to Be Considered?
Fill out the Model Submission Form. Incomplete forms or submissions without a link to images will be disregarded.
IMPORTANT: Although we encourage photographers to hire our models that participate in our events for their own paid shoots, it is important to remember that we do not keep detailed files on our photographers or conduct background checks. The vast majority of our photographers are talented, respectful and professional, but we can't vouch for everyone. Always use your best judgment and instincts on who you shoot with privately. You shouldn't shoot with someone when you only have their Instagram handle, for example. We suggest getting their full name and phone number at minimum, and perhaps asking if you can bring an escort if you feel that might be warranted. There have also been some cases when photographers have solicited models about management contracts, modeling agencies, video and cam show work, and other sideline ventures. Please realize that anything like this is outside the realm or knowledge of Allure Glamour Photography Group. We urge you to always be cautious and to use good judgment!
